Bettie Ann Smith

Bettie Ann Smith was born on May 6th 1947 in Greensboro, NC. She was a homemaker who loved to cook, play cards, entertain and listen to music. She loved to take care of her family and others who were in need of a place to stay or an ear to listen. She was a full burst of energy and comical. Bettie loved endlessly without judgement and was well-loved by her community.   Bettie is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Mack, brother, Robert (Bobby) Smith, grandson, Timothy Jackson, son, Russell Smith and daughter, Andrea (Bunzie) Smith.   Bettie is survived by her sons Derrick and Ronald Smith, her grandchildren Brandon (Samantha) Smith of Sioux Falls SD, Nicholas (Teresa) Smith and Nathan Smith of North Port FL, Charnelle Smith of Greensboro, NC, Jeremy, Maurice and Josh Smith of Ocala FL, Christian Brooks and Ciera Smith of Brooklyn New York, great grandchildren Tiyanea Jackson, Major and Majesty Smith and Oshun Books and beloved granddaughter Akila Bell, sister, Beverly Sumpter, nephew Micheal (Mikey) Sumpter and a host of nieces, nephews and loving friends.
