Carldon Travis King Sr. February 3, 1964 - March 25th, 2025

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carldon T King Sr., who left us on March 25, 2025, at the age of 61. Born on February 3, 1964, Carldon T King Sr. was a cherished father, brother, uncle, friend, and member of the community, leaving joy and laughter with all those fortunate enough to know him.

He was born in Ocala, FL where he also lived most of his life, close to his family. He has joined his mother, Mary Rosetta Rucker, brothers Gary & Randall King, and is survived by his siblings: Mary Renfroe, Geleaner Adams, Gwendolyn Sanchez, James King, & Sylvester White. Carldon T King Sr was also a proud father to four children & three grandchildren: Carldon King Jr, Carea King, Crystal King & Chia King, and grandchildren Caydence King, Cruz King & Camaree King.

Carldon T King Sr. attended Bethune-Cookman College in 1984, where he played trombone for the Marching Wildcats and became a proud member of the Kappa Kappa Psi fraternity.

Carldon T King Sr. lived life on his own terms, embracing every moment with a sense of freedom and a heart full of laughter. He was the life of the party wherever he went, lighting up every room with his humor, charm, and unforgettable presence. On his path through life, he had a way of lifting others up, making people feel seen, and leaving smiles in his wake. He made no enemies, only friends, memories, and stories that will be shared for years to come.
