Cecile Washington was born October 20, 1942 at Manhattan Hospital in New York City, to the late Ollie and Richard Washington.
Cecile attended high school and later went to secondary school and mastered keypunching and typing. Cecile's hobbies were cooking and sewing. She also enjoyed reading a good book. When Cecile turned 28, she met Charles Jackson and later had Corey Jackson around 35 years of age. .Even though they never married they cared for one another. Cecile worked many jobs to support herself and Corey, later moving to Maryland where she worked as a secretary for 16 years at Southern Management until she retired in 2005 and moved to Ocala, Florida permanently to be closer with her mother and other family members. Cecile accepted the Lord and Savior and occasionally attended Mount Canaan with her mother when health allowed her to.
Cecile leaves to cherish her precious memories, her one son Cory Jackson and daughter-in-law Brianna Santie; two grandchildren, Emonie and Isaiah; one sister, Regina Washington; nieces, Tanya Washington, Adaya Washington, Sierra Washington, Dasani Washington, Tionnie Washington; nephews; Tyquan Washington, Sean Washington, Dashawn Cooper, Marky Diaz, Mahkai Washington; goddaughters, Ayana B Wylie , Sonyette Turner, Cecily Buchanan and a host of cousins and sorrowing friends.
