Charlie Hutchinson Cochran

Charlie Hutchinson Cochran, 76, departed this life on April 5, 2023, at Ocala Regional Hospital. She was born on March 11, 1947, in Ocala, FL to the late Clem and Efthelene Hutchinson.

Charlie graduated from Howard High School, Class of 1965. Charlie accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church. She began her career with the State of Florida in 1973 and remained with them for 30 years.

She married George Cochran in 1972. They lived a beautiful life together raising two sons, Kelvin and George.

Her husband George Cochran, Sr., preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Martha H. Cotton, Willie Hutchinson, Sr., and Clementine Hutchinson.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories, two sons: Kelvin Berrian (Dale), and George Cochran, Jr., (Sharonika); siblings: Robert Hutchinson (Lula), and Robin Courtney; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a host of sorrowing nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
