On October 8, 1983, a Star was Born. David Nathaniel Barron, a beautiful and bouncy baby, was born to Brenda Hecht and Augustin Merced, Jr,. in Hollywood, Florida. David Barron traveled across the country as a young boy and resided in Ocala, Florida. Even as a child, David was charismatic, vibrant, and full of life. He had the sweetest spirit, and everyone gravitated to David and loved him as their own.
David attended East Marion Elementary. He went to Lake Weir High School and took courses at Job Corps of America. He received his High School Diploma in 2002. God blessed David with artistic talent, and he would express himself through art and style. David worked in the automobile industry in his earlier years prior to becoming a professional tattoo artist. He was taught the art of tattooing by his childhood best friend. David became a licensed tattoo artist in 2008 and truly mastered his gift. At the start of his profession, he worked at a local tattoo shop for several years until he eventually went into business for himself for over the past decade. He was working on expanding his business and becoming a mentor to numerous people that were interested in learning the artistry.
David loved his family and was a great father to his five children. His contagious laughter would warm your heart. David loved clothes, shoes, shopping, cars, jewelry, and he loved to have a good time. He loved collecting movies, watching comedy, action, 80’s and early 90’s classic movies. David also loved looking good and his impeccable style was a big part of his bright personality. He had style like no one else and he loved taking pictures of everything and everyone. Throughout his life and through his gift, David has left an imprint on so many lives and his legacy will live on through all who knew him and loved him.
To cherish his legacy, David leaves behind his significant other, Marcia Harrison; one daughter, Oceanna Barron; four sons, Nathaniel Barron, Davari Barron, Darrian Barron, Daylen Barron; mother, Brenda Hecht; father, Augustin Merced, Jr.; brothers, Bjourn Barron, Chamborg Hecht; sister, Keyshia Haynes; and many loving nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Abbie Marsh.
