Alpha: Gaynell Miller was born to parents Esther Mae Wheeler-James and Wilbert Wilkerson on February 14, 1948, in Ocala, Florida. She received her formal education in the Marion County public school system. She was a graduate of Fessenden High School, Class of 1967. She received her Associate of Science degree from Webster College, her Bachelor of Science degree from Nova Southeastern University, and Master of Science from Nova Southeastern University. She retired from the Marion County public school system. Gaynell was most known for her sassiness, witty sense of humor, passion for education, charismatic personality, love for family, for being a western movie fan, and for being an excellent cook. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, David Miller; daughter, Keniesh Morrison; mother, Esther Mae Wheeler-James; father, Wilbert Wilkerson; and brother, Leroy James. She leaves to cherish her memories: two sons, Eley Morrison III and Torrence Morrison; two bonus daughters, Kongi Morrison and Tracy Walker; granddaughters Jazmine Freeman and Tyeisha Buie; grandsons, Trevin Moore, Desmond Henderson and Fabian Morrison; sisters, Lachetta James, Pattie Reason, and Zonetra Boothe (Croswell); brothers, Alonzo James, Alvin James, Charlie James (Stephanie), and Reverend Izell James, Sr. (Jennie); brother-in-law, Larry Miller; sister-in-laws, Theresa James and Kathrn Miller; and a host of loving cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends (Close Friend Jeanette Rivers).
Omega: Gaynell Miller went on to be with the Lord on January 27, 2024.
