Gregory Bernard Buggs, Sr.

Gregory Buggs, Sr., was called to eternal rest on February 6, 2024. He was born in Eustis, Florida, on October 20, 1957, to the late Bynum Claudius Buggs and late Helen Delores Buggs. His brother, Bernard Taylor, preceded him in death. He attended technical college now known as Lake Technical College and took up a trade in masonry. Once completed, he went on to have a successful career as an entrepreneur. He later became a husband, father, and dependable friend who loved to help others in the community. Greg was also a member of Weaver Memorial United Holy Church.

He leaves his loving and devoted family to cherish his memory: Son, Gregory Buggs, Jr. of Eustis, Florida; daughter, Ashley Buggs of Houston, Texas; sister, Sheron Buggs of Eustis, Florida;  brothers, Ronnie (Monica) Allen-Buggs of Eustis, Florida, Trod Buggs of Daytona Beach, Florida, and Horace (Katrina) Meekins of Gainesville, Florida; grandchildren, Jaylon Buggs of Mt. Dora, Florida, and Desean Edwards of Altamonte Springs, Florida; goddaughter, Lacrita Grey; a host of nephews and nieces, a special great-nephew, A’mir Percell, cousins, and friends.
