Kenneth Lee Tugerson was born on September 4, 1960, in Miami, Florida, to Joseph Tugerson and Teretha Newmones. He was preceded in death by both parents, as well as his devoted stepfather, Zebedee Newmones. Kenneth, affectionately known as “Kenny,” received his education through the Marion County School System. He was a devoted fan of the Miami Dolphins and found great joy in fishing. More importantly, he was known for his unwavering love and deep devotion to his siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
On Friday, April 10, 2026, Kenny peacefully answered the Master’s call, bringing his life’s journey to a close, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: four devoted siblings, Mamie Jackson Mann, Lisa (Marvin) Terrell, Clarence Keith Tugerson all of Ocala, Florida, and Oscar (Audrey) Jackson Sr. of Albany, Georgia; eleven nieces, Geovona Mann of Ocala, Tabitha Tugerson and Tamara Roberts both of Miami, Teretha (Don) Palmer and Sidneysha Terrell both of Pennsylvania, Tara Roberts of Miami, Shae (Ron) Reese of Ocala, Lataevia Jackson and Candice (Jason) Gillum of Albany, Georgia, and KeAngela (Edgar) Sanchez of Miami, Sidneshia Terrell of Palmetto, Florida; five nephews, James Mann of Ocala, Torrance Jackson, Johnthan Mann, and Oscar Jackson Jr. all of Georgia, and Morris Tugerson of Miami; seven aunts, Shelly Rhaming of Bartow, Florida, Ann (Wilbert) Mack, Gloria (Kenneth) Mickens, Kathy Ann (Bob) Harvey, Patsy Brown, Mary (Edgar) Gaines, and Johnie (Russell) Harrison, all of Ocala; four uncles, Hubert (Linda) Naylor, Jerry (Wanda) Harvey, James Daniels, all of Ocala, and Jeffery (Wanda) Daniels of Virginia, along with a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
