Marjorie C. Buckner was born on
January 11, 1948, to the late Benjamin
J. Carroll, Jr., and the late Annie Rose
Kitchen Carroll in Eustis, Florida. On
April 16, 2024, Marjorie was taken to
her heavenly home by the angels in
silence.
Marjorie received Christ at an early
age and was baptized at Mt. Zion
Primitive Baptist Church in Eustis,
Florida. She received her early
education in Lake County schools and was a graduate of
Bates Avenue High School Class of 1966.
Marjorie retired from JP Morgan Chase after an
outstanding career spanning over 30 years. During her
time with JP Morgan Chase, Marjorie received many
awards for her outstanding customer service. She was
promoted to Vice President at her local branch.
Marjorie was a big fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and
the Las Vegas Raiders. She enjoyed fishing, music, and
family. She had a love for helping people.
She was a member of the following organizations:
Jerusalem Worship Center Finance and Hospitality
Committee, Eustis Housing Authority, and Mt. Olive
Cemetery Committee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Shadrack
Buckner; father, Benjamin J. Carroll, Jr.; mother, Annie
Rose Carroll; and brother, Randolph Brown.
She leaves to cherish her memories: son, Rodney Daily,
Sr. (Nilda); daughter, Tina Hudnall (Norris); four
grandchildren, Anthony Coleman, Rodney Daily,
Jr., Alyssa Coleman, and Darius Daily; one greatgranddaughter,
Nevaeh Coleman; two sisters, Evelyn
Green and Cheryl James; one brother, Benjamin J.
Carroll III; godchildren, Raymond B. Green, Reynard
McBurrows, Akeef Farquharson, and Majica DeCosta;
and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A heartfelt thank you is extended to Ziverlyn Dunnell
and Michael Buggs for their special care of Marjorie
Buckner.
