On May 30, 2022, in Ocala, Florida, Mattie made her transition. She was 79 years age.
Mattie Ruth Trammell was born on November 7, 1942, in LaFayette, Alabama to the late Daisy and Rufus Trammell, Sr. (Nee Ware) She was educated in the Chambers County School System where she attended and graduated from Chambers County Training School. She was baptized and became a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
Prior to relocating to Ocala, Florida, Mattie lived in New York City.
Mattie enjoyed life! She enjoyed all that life had to offer...spending time with her family and friends, travelling, a good party, the theater, entertaining...
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings Ben, Carlene and Rufus Trammell, Jr. Her remaining siblings are Annie Jo Vines and Phyllis Trammell.
