Bernice was born on June 27, 1947, in Lake Placid, Florida,
to George and Susie Mae Williams. Bernice was the oldest
of seven and the only daughter. She attended Millner
Rosenwald Academy and Lake Tech for home health and
CNA. She also attended the Medical Assistant Program at the
Career Training Institute. She was a dedicated employee of
Cornerstone Hospice for 30 years until retirement.
Bernice was a devoted wife to the late John Johnson for over
40 years. She was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, and friend.
She loved her family and left an impact with everyone she
came in contact with.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Susie
Mae Williams; brothers, Harold Williams and Eddie Lee
Williams; and her husband, John Johnson.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: a devoted
daughter, Regina Summerall; grandchildren, Kelvin Burnett,
Jr., Tavares Britteny Burnett (Jay) and Ervin Burnett, both
of Eustis, FL; great-grands, Ayden Burnett and E’nnonce
Burnett; brothers, George Williams (Airredeania) and Glover
Williams, both of Mt. Dora, FL, Ervin Williams and Charles
Williams, both of Eustis, FL; sister, Annie M. Bryant of Mt.
Dora, FL; bonus daughter, LaRosalinda Jones (Spencer)
of Daytona, FL; godmother, Betty Jo Hill of Belle Glade;
godsister, Pearlie Hill of Bell Glade; godbrother, Alco Hill of
West Palm; best friend, Laura Felton; and a lot of very special
nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins and friends.
