Priscilla Wise was born on October 9, 1967, to Ms. Jimmye Vereen and Mr. Roy Wise, who preceded her in death.
She lived most of her life in Ocala, Florida, where she was surrounded by family, love, and community throughout the years.
Priscilla attended Hillcrest School in Ocala, Florida, where she was part of a special needs program that supported students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She enjoyed being around others, listening to music, laughing, and taking part in activities that brought her joy and comfort.
For a brief time, Priscilla participated in community and volunteer-style work experiences that allowed her to interact with others and feel included and valued. She especially enjoyed simple moments spent with family and those who cared for her.
During the last three years of her life, Priscilla spent time in Tallahassee surrounded by care, compassion, and support.
She later returned home to Ocala, Florida, where she peacefully transitioned surrounded by loved ones.
Priscilla leaves to cherish her memory her loving mother, Ms. Jimmye Vereen; sisters and brothers: Eric Vereen, Kimberly James, Karen Mackey, Daryl Craig Daymon, and Trelawney Wise; aunts: Bernadette Jones and Mary Welcome, Godmother: Pearl Shaw-Williams, Godsister: Wilkayla Lewis (Terrance), along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will forever hold her memory close in their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Roy Wise; her brother, Brandon Vereen; and her sister, Chiqueta Vereen Dubois.
