Rosetta Brewton Raines

Rosetta Brewton Raines, 75 of Ocala, Florida, passed away on November 6, 2023. Rose was born October 26, 1948, to Ed and Mamie Brewton of Ocala, Florida. After Rose graduated from  Howard High in 1966, she started her career at Martin Marietta Lockheed Martin as a material coordinator, where she worked for over forty years. In 1965, Rose met Curtis E. Raines. They married and had three boys, Curtis, Jr., Tony, and Adrian Raines, all of Ocala. In 2010, Rose retired and spent her time working in her flower garden, reading her bible, bowling, and spending time with her family.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her devoted husband, Curtis Raines, Sr., sons; Curtis Raines, Jr., (Farah), Tony Raines, (Zandra), Adrian Raines; grandsons; Isaiah Raines, Jordan Raines, Jaden Raines; a granddaughter; Justice McChriston; brothers; Ozell Debose, Elbert Brewton; a sister; Earline  Hicks; a special niece; Cassandra Scott; special nephew; Gerald Jones, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close special friends.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents; Mammie and Ed Brewton; brothers; James Debose, and Lorenzo Bethel, Sr., sisters; Eddie May Floyd, Cora Jones, and Emma Lee Richards.
