Tamara “Bonita Monét” Williams Obituary

Above all else, Tamara "Bonita Monét' Williams was a devoted and extraordinary mother. She loved her four beautiful children—Jonasti Richmond, Kosheme Richmond Jr., Ka' Dorian Richmond, and Ja' Coriana Richmond—more than anything in this world. Tamara had a special bond with each of them, taking the time to know them individually, deeply, and without question. She celebrated their differences, championed their dreams, and nurtured their spirits. Her motherhood was not just a role; it was her life’s calling, and she embraced it with unmatched grace, strength, and purpose. Her children were the center of her world, and she made every effort to show up for them in ways big and small—through daily affection, birthday celebrations that honored their unique essence, and quiet moments where she offered love, wisdom, and unwavering support. To know Tamara was to witness the power of a mother’s love fully realized. Tamara entered eternal rest on May 25, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love that will live on in her children and all who were blessed to know her. Born on July 24, 1991, she made her home in Mount Dora, FL, and lived a life full of compassion, creativity, and faith. Professionally, she served her community as a Home Health Provider and an Afterschool Paraprofessional for children with unique learning abilities at Rock Spring Elementary School. She was also gifted in the arts—designing custom clothing and merchandise for recording artists and creating stunning decorative layouts for party planners. Her passion and creativity added color and joy to everything she touched. Tamara was a shining light: a true princess who loved all things pink—especially hot pink. She was a "mommy's girl," an overprotective sister, a loyal friend, and a woman of deep faith who lived her life with purpose. She had a heart for helping the less fortunate and always made time to offer wisdom and encouragement to those who needed it. She is survived by her children and dog Brixx; her loving parents; her brothers, James Gregory Williams Jr.; her sisters, Taylor Vanae; and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Tamara was preceded in death by her grandmothers, her grandfather, and three of her favorite cousins, all of whom she carried in her heart and honored through the way she loved others. Her favorite quote, “God Don’t Play About Me,” and her life scripture, Psalm 142, beautifully capture the fearless love and divine assurance she carried throughout her life. Tamara Bonita Monét Williams will forever be remembered as a loving mother, a radiant soul, and a woman whose heart beat strongest for her children.
