TiJuana Levette Woods was the first-born child of Whitfield and Loretta Jenkins. She was born in Ocala, Florida on December 4, 1963.
She graduated from Vanguard High School in 1981. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Florida A&M University, and master’s degree from Stetson University.
She was united in holy matrimony to her beloved Reginald Woods, Sr., on December 17, 1988. They are blessed with three sons: Reji, Edgar, and Jordan.
TiJuana accepted Christ Jesus as her savior and remained steadfast to her Christian fellowship as a dedicated member of Greater Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. She was a loyal member of AWANA, an organization whose mission is to equip leaders to reach children and youth with the gospel and engage them in lifelong discipleship. She was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, and a life member of Florida A&M University National Alumni Association.
TiJuana’s first employment after college was with the Bank of Detroit. She eventually returned to her hometown of Ocala to work as the NAACP Executive Director of Greater Ocala Community Development Corporation. Afterwards, she became the Assistant Director of Ocala Housing Authority. Her professional career culminated with the City of Ocala before retiring in 2023.
She leaves to cherish her memories with her devoted husband Reginald Woods Sr., sons Reji Woods, Edgar ReVay Woods, and Jordan E’lohn Woods, parents Whitfield and Loretta Jenkins, brothers Dr. Jaiya John and Dr. Sultan Ali Jenkins, sister Rose Delilah Jenkins, daughters-inlaw Audra, Angelica, and Danielle, nieces Jordan Elizabeth McCoyJohn and Kya Washington, nephew Ross Brion Jenkins, aunt Barbara Pompey, cousins Debra Russell, Merle K. Foster, Kimberly Pompey Wilkerson, granddaughters Eden Grace Woods and Avaylah Ember Woods "on the way", and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
