Tiari Tinisha DeBose

On January 12, 2026, Tiari Tinisha DeBose went to be in the arms of the Lord after bravely battling a rare disease. Tiari was born on September 20, 1991, in Gainesville, Florida, to her loving parents, Anna Allen and Clyde DeBose, Sr. Tiari grew up in Gainesville and attended the public schools of Alachua County. From an early age, she displayed strength far beyond her years. She was a two-time cancer survivor, overcoming two forms of leukemia at the age of two and thyroid cancer at the age of fourteen. Most recently, Tiari courageously battled Takayasu Arteritis for three months, and not once did she lose her trademark sass. Tiari was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. She will be remembered for her spunk, creativity, big heart, and even bigger personality. She had a unique gift for creating with her hands and never missed an opportunity to bless someone she loved with a handmade treasure. Tiari lived her life to the fullest, always remaining unapologetically herself. Tiari leaves behind to cherish her memory: her mother, Anna Allen; father, Clyde DeBose, Sr.; siblings, Antonio (Aubrey), CJ, Yolanda, and Candice (Ray); nephews, Tristyn, Donovan, and Darrion; niece, Kyndall; beloved dog, Marley; and a host of loving family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved niece and best friend, Sasha; grandmothers, Joanne and Mary; and great-grandparents, Ruby and Herbert. Tiari would not want us to cry for her, but instead to celebrate the fact that she finished her race. She is now free to rest and joyfully reunited with her Sasha.
