Treasure Goldsmith Obituary

Treasure Trinese Katemma Goldsmith was born on April 28, 1982, at Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, North Carolina. She was the beloved daughter of Henry Goldsmith and Sophilia L.Givens. Treasure peacefully transitioned to be with the Lord on December 4, 2025, at 3:51 a.m., at Moffitt Cancer Center, surrounded by her loving family. Treasure’s confession of salvation took place at the age of six years old at a revival held at the Eighth Street Church of God. Her grandmother, Emma L. Givens, played an important role in guiding her into that special new birth.
Treasure grew wisely in her walk with the Lord there until she later became a member of Anchor International Ministries of Ocala, Florida, in 1998 under the leadership of her mother, Pastor Sophilia L. Givens. It was there that she worked faithfully and held the position of Treasurer and Finance Manager for fifteen years before transferring her membership to New Life Center Ministries in Wildwood, Florida, under the leadership of her father, Bishop Henry Goldsmith. Under the leadership and guidance of both ministries led by her parents, she matured beautifully in her
walk with God, developing into the woman of God she ultimately became. She held many roles, especially those involving the betterment of her children, as well as the children connected to her through her personal mentorship.
She also participated in several community involvements, including War Cry 4 Peace, a community entity supporting families who stand against gun violence. Her most passionate involvement was her unwavering support of her children. She devoted her entire life to them—fully embracing her role as a teen mom—attending every sports event, every school activity, and every milestone they were a part of. Treasure was the model of a phenomenal mom. She was a devoted mother of three children: sons, the late Courtreaz Henry Jay Goldsmith and Antoine Goldsmith, and daughter, Jiyah Hamilton. She was a steady, supportive, and endlessly caring presence in their lives—a true guiding light. A proud graduate of Vanguard High School Class of 2000, Treasure continued her education at Central Florida Community College, where she earned her Associate Degree. She later attended St. Leo College on the Central Florida campus and earned her Bachelor’s Degree.
Treasure worked with the Florida Guardian ad Litem as a dedicated Child Advocacy Manager. She carried out her responsibilities with professionalism, compassion, and unwavering commitment to the children she served. Treasure leaves to cherish her memory: her two children, Antoine Goldsmith and Jiyah Hamilton; her parents, Sophilia Givens and Henry Goldsmith (Cassandra); her sisters, Shaneka Goldsmith, Shaundreka Goldsmith, and Tanya Gills (Kelly); brother, Shauntell Nichols (Trish); her devoted special friend, Eddie “Scoota” Hamilton Sr.; two nephews, Nehemiah Reid and Malachi Goldsmith; and one niece, Leia Reid; her goddaughter whom she deeply loved, Kyler Hinkle, and who she adored and spoiled every chance she could. Treasure’s memory will also be cherished by her two special friends, ShaToya Pierre and Dijuana Jackson; her special uncle, Charles Alvin Jacobs; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and sorrowing friends.
