Willie (Will) Watts, Sr. was born to the late Johnnie Watts, Sr. and Gertrude Watts in Hazelhurst, Georgia. Upon completion of high school, Willie joined the United States Army. He served four years and received an Honorable Discharge. Willie was later joined in holy matrimony to Vanessa Murphy on December 4th, 1976.Willie was preceded in death by both parents, brothers: Johnnie Watts, Jr., Horace Watts, Roscoe Watts, Sr., Alonzo Watts, Von Watts; sisters: Billie Watts, Gertrude Watts and Marilyn Watts. He leaves to cherish his memories to his loving wife of 47 years, Vanessa; two loving sons: Willie Watts, Jr., (Dunnellon, FL) and Tony Jermaine (“TJ”) Watts, Sr. (Gainesville, FL); two loving daughters: Lisa Watts (Ocala, FL); and Tasha Watts (Orlando, FL); 15 grandchildren (William Burgess, Jr. - deceased); two sisters: Annie Lee Watts (Atlanta, GA) and Beulah Watts (Syracuse, NY); Brother-in-laws: Robert Murphy (Darlene), Winston Murphy (Shirley), Tommie Murphy (Brenda); Sister-in-laws: Diane Watts, Sadie Young, Lucille Oliver, Minister Rudene Styles (Michael), Lois Murphy, a special daughter-in-law, LaChaundra Watts, as well as a host of loving cousins, nieces, nephews and sorrowing friends. Very special friends and confidants: Joesph Cummings II, David “Bo” Jones, Lawrence “Pop” Epps, Johhny Baker, Kenny Tugerson, and Marty Allen, Sr.
